Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of delnortech.com, the products sold there, and the customer-support assistant operated on the @delnortech Instagram account ("the Assistant," "we," "us," or "our"). By visiting the site, placing an order, or sending a direct message to @delnortech, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or message us.

1. Who we are

Delnor Tech is a small e-commerce business based in the United States that sells consumer hardware, including the KeyTrack key tracker. We are reachable at:

2. The Assistant on Instagram

When you DM @delnortech, an automated assistant may reply on our behalf. The Assistant is designed to answer common questions about our products, orders, and policies. For anything sensitive — refunds, complaints, legal matters, or anything outside its scope — the Assistant escalates the message to our human team for a personal response.

By messaging @delnortech, you understand that:

  • An automated system may reply
  • Your messages may be stored to provide context for follow-up replies (see our Privacy Policy)
  • You can opt out of automated replies or request data deletion at any time (see our Data Deletion Instructions)

The Assistant is provided "as is." We do not guarantee instant replies, perfectly accurate answers, or any specific response time. Use the Assistant at your discretion and verify any commercially important answer (pricing, availability, shipping windows) with a human via email.

3. Orders, payment, and shipping

Orders placed on delnortech.com are subject to the standard Shopify checkout terms displayed at the time of purchase. Pricing, taxes, and shipping costs are shown before you complete checkout. We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including for suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock issues. If we cancel a paid order, you receive a full refund within a reasonable timeframe.

Shipping windows are estimates, not guarantees. Real-world delivery is the responsibility of the carrier.

4. Returns and refunds

Our return and refund policy is published at delnortech.com/policies/refund-policy and incorporated by reference into these Terms. The published refund policy controls in case of conflict with anything written informally elsewhere (e.g., a DM reply).

5. Intellectual property

All content on delnortech.com — product photos, copy, logos, the KeyTrack name and design — is owned by Delnor Tech or used under license. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute our content for commercial use without written permission.

The Delnor Tech name, KeyTrack name, and associated marks are trademarks of Delnor Tech. Apple, Find My, and AirTag are trademarks of Apple Inc. and are referenced descriptively; we are not affiliated with Apple beyond using Apple's Find My ecosystem as a compatible accessory.

6. Acceptable use

When interacting with the site, the Assistant, or any other Delnor Tech surface, you agree NOT to:

  • Send harassing, threatening, hateful, or illegal content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overwhelm the Assistant or the site
  • Impersonate another person or business
  • Use the site or the Assistant in violation of any applicable law

We reserve the right to ignore, block, or report any account that violates this section, without notice.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The site, the products, and the Assistant are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or the Assistant.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from a transaction is limited to the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or anything that cannot be limited by applicable law.

Some U.S. states do not allow certain limitations of warranty or liability. To the extent those limitations cannot apply where you live, this section applies to the maximum extent allowed.

8. Privacy and data

Your use of the site and the Assistant is also governed by our Privacy Policy and our Data Deletion Instructions. Both are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be noted in a banner on delnortech.com for at least 30 days. Continued use of the site or the Assistant after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by direct communication will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Deschutes County, Oregon.
